This is a very interesting educational site that will definitely attract children of all ages with the passion for learning. It will also help those who have trouble in certain subject areas and assist them in boosting their confidence in learning. This site is made up of links to other site such as sityes for learning game activities,Engineering sites, Language Art sites, Math sites, Museum sites, news sites for kids, Science and Social Studies sites, search engines and many more.
This site is very colourful and has alot of detailed pictures with very understandable activities so that children can understand with ease. With this site children can build on their mathematical skills by using activities such as picture graphs and building blocks and the museum link shows you museums from all over the world which can help children find out where valuable things are found. For example aquatic, history and science museums. There is alos a serach engine where children can go and serach for information using google, alta vista, ask jeeves and Dogpile. I would definitely prescribe this site for every child because I took the opportunity to do some activities and it helped me.

This site is an Owl & Mouse educational site that assists children from ages 3-6 with reading, sounding and writing the 26 letters of the alphabet. Learning to read is the most important part of a child's education and this site helps by making children become more familiar with the alphabet which requires knowing the sounds represented by letters. Through this site children will also have fun printing and colouring letters and learning to make shapes of the letters of the alphabet through interactive games. They will learn consonants, long vowels, short vowels, blends and how letters combine to make sounds in words. The main goal of this site is for your child to read fluently so that it can also assist with the fundamentals of writing.

Rosetta Stone - Bringing the best language learning curriculum to students

This is a very educational site that builds the foundation of fundamental vocabulary and essential language structure . This site will develop childrens' Spanish language skills to enjoy social interactions amongst themsleves as well as for travel and sharing ideas and opinions in Spanish.
Research was done on this site and it was proven that after 55 hours of study with Rosetta Stone software, students will significantly improve their Spanish language skills and 56- 72 percent of students will increase their oral proficiency by atleast one level.
This site is easy to use and very helpful so that all students and teachers who are computer literate and have access to the world wide web can access this site.
Also, I think that this can be helpful especially to primary school students in Trinidad and Tobago, due to the fact that Spansih is now becoming compulsary. Trinidad and Tobago is the closest islands to South America and has a lot of Spanish speaking countries. It will prepare them for secondary school as well as help the future generation to interact with the vast growing Hispanic tourist population in Trinidad and Tobago.
